Dating has gotten a bad-rap in Christian circles.
My friend Deb Fileta, a licensed counselor, is out to redeem dating–and show us how dating done the proper way can help us grow closer to God, to each other, and even find real love.
Christian young adults are looking for the answers to finding true love. They are disillusioned with the church that gives them biblical truth without any practical application in the area of love and relationships. They have been bombarded by Christian books that shun dating, idolize courting, fixate on spirituality and in the end offer little to no help in the real world of dating.
True Love Dates provides a systematic approach to dating by guiding the reader into three types of relationships that are vital to finding true love: dating inward, dating outward, and dating upward. Each section will educate the reader on how to lay a proper foundation for building a healthy relationship: starting with getting to know one’s self, then addressing important dynamics of interpersonal relationships, and lastly defining God’s role within the dynamics of a dating relationship.
I highly recommend it!
